In "Broken Rocks Pink Sky," Olsen-Dunn captures a surreal coastal scene where land and sea blur into a dreamscape of color and form. The sky shifts in a radiant gradient from pink to orange to yellow, casting a glow over fluorescent blue pools below. Semi-eroded rocks stand as vestiges of a once-solid coastline, their forms disintegrating as vertical streaks pull them downward, conveying a sense of dissolution and transformation. At four feet tall, this striking and immersive piece suggests a landscape in flux - caught between reality and the digital, where natural elements begin to unravel and drift away.
